CHARGE OF GAMING. YOUNG MAN’S OFFENCE. (Per United Press Association.) Christchurch, January 24. Stanley Percival Barnett, aged 24, pleaded guilty in the Magistrate’s Court to-day to a charge of keeping a common gaming house at 19 Duncan street. Spreydon. It was stated that he had been carrying on a betting business on a large scale. He had been fined £25 in March, 1933, for a similar offence. Barnett was fined £5O.
