DAIRY FACTORY PICNIC. (From Our Correspondent.) The Dairy Factory Suppliers’ Annual Picnic was held in the domain on Saturday afternoon. The early pari of the afternoon was ideal for a picnic calm, warm, and very little sun, but about four ■ o-clock the wind sprang up, the sky clouded over, and rain began to fall lightly. , . , ri Mr Geo; Davis,-chairman, assisted by Messrs W. Shaw, T. Simpson, S. Young, J. Linton, R. Hogg, J. Hennessey and R. Freutz, were all keen workers ana helped materially toward the success of the picnic. Mr and Mrs Milmine who have been visiting their son at the Presbyterian manse have returned to Oamaru. Mr and Mrs- Coulter, Kaitangata, who have been holidaying with Mr and Miss McAlister, have returned home. Mrs P. . Reid, NeW Plymouth, is visiting her brother, Mr J. Hennessey. Mrs H. A. Rees, who has been visiting her brother Mr J. Brown, has returned to Putaruru, North Island. Mrs W. O’Malley, who has been the guest of Mr and Mrs J. Munro, has returned to Dunedin.
