FRIVOLITY FAIR

ANOTHER SUCCESSFUL SESSION.

The second session of the Frivolity Fair in the Orange Hall yesterday was every bit as successful as the opening night on Wednesday. Again good business was transacted, and thus early it is safe to say that the building fund will be greatly augmented as a result.

Last evening the Civic and Pipe Bands were in attendance and added gaiety to the fair with appropriate marches and selections. A demonstration of Scottish dancing by Miss Tinker and lightning sketches by Mr Rowe were much appreciated. Tonight the programme will include dancing items by Miss J. McKinley and juggling by Mr Rowe. A door prize will be given to every 25th entrant to the fair. This afternoon there will be a baking competition and admission will be free.

Competition winners last evening were as follows:—Toilet set, Miss “Mac” (Christchurch); tea, M. Mclndoe, Heriot street; pyjamas, Jay Dee, Crinan street.
