The New Zealand aviators Hewett and Kay landed at Mascot from Cootamundra at 1.30 p.m. after flying through a blinding dust storm which they described as worse than anything encountered in the air race. They intend to carry out their trans-Tasman flight early next week. It is expected that the Tasman flight will be undertaken from Richmond Aerodrome between 5 and 6 a.m. for Auckland.
