HOW TO AVOID WAR
MR LANSBURY’S SUGGESTION.

Mr George Lansbury, Leader of the Labour Party, in a speech at Gatford, said: “I do not intend to ask men serving in the forces to break the oath, but I do ask every mother, sister and sweetheart to do their utmost to keep male relatives and friends out of the services. If the supply of men willing to fight is cut off there cannot be any more war.”
