BAZAAR AT TARAMOA

COMPETITION WINNERS.

A successful bazaar in aid of the Taramoa branch of the Wallacetown Presbyterian Church was held in _m e hall on Saturday evening last. The winners of the competitions were: Ladies’ Bullboard, Mrs T. Hill; mens bullboard, M. Hamilton; ladies’ sawing, Miss Robertson; men’s sawing, V. Wilson; quoits, Mrs H. Wilson (also do.l guessing); men’s quoits, H. Robertson, ladies’ nail-driving, Mrs W. L. Gray; men’s nail-driving, V. Wilson; ladies candle lighting, Mrs T. Hill; men’s candle lighting, V. Wilson; girls’ ana boys’ nail-driving, Molly McEwing and W. Smith; button guessing, Jack Dunlop. The stall-holders were: Tea rooms, Mrs J. Thompson and Mrs W. Blackler; sewing stall, Miss L. Heywood; produce, Mrs T. Millar; sweets, Misses M. McEwing, F. Millar, M. Blackler and N. Pont; fruit salad and ice creams. Misses A. Robertson, M. Butt and H. Smith.
