PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH
ASSEMBLY AT DUNEDIN. (Per United Press Association.) Dunedin, November 7. The Presbyterian Assembly met at First Church, Dunedin, to-day. The retiring moderator, the Rev. D. D. Scott, conducted the service and moved the Rev. Dickie’s selection as Moderator. The Rev. Dickie delivered an address on the present day theological situation. Various committees were set up to expedite the business. Prior to the opening of the assembly, past and present students met Dr. Dickie and presented the ’Moderatorial robes. Eloquent tributes to his work and loyalty to the Christian faith were paid by several speakers.
