FERRY BOAT ROBBERY.

VICTIM THROWN OVERBOARD. (United Press Assn.—Telegraph Copyright.) Sydney, November 6. Edward Chisholm, aged 61, secretary of a city firm, was brutally attacked on a harbour ferry early this morning and robbed of £llOO. He was then thrown into the harbour by his attackers. Chisholm was able to keep afloat and his cries for help were heard by the ferry crew on its return trip to the city fifteen minutes later. Chisholm was admitted to hospital with a fractured skull and in a dying condition. His depositions have been taken. Chisholm was sitting alone in the bow of the boat when two men approached and stunned him with a blow on the head. It Is believed that the assailants mingled with the crowd and walked ashore when the ferry reached Neutral Hay. ________
