SUBSIDIZED SHIPPING
ACTION TO MEET COMPETITION.
(United Press Assn.—Telegraph Copyright.) (Rec. 11 p.m.) Canberra, November 5. The Sun representative reports that concerted action to meet competition from subsidized foreign shipping in the Pacific will be discussed next week by representatives of the New Zealand and Australian Governments. Other important matters to be discussed are a joint export policy as far as common interest will permit with a view to resisting the restriction plan threatened in Britain, also the embargos on Australian citrus fruits by New Zealand and on potatoes from the Dominion.
