NEW GOVERNOR
COLONY OF SIERRA LEONE. (British Official Wireless.) (Rec. 5.5 p.m.) Rugby, July 16. The King has appointed Mr Henry Monck Mason Moore, Colonial Secretary of Kenya, to be Governor and Commander-in-Chief of Sierra Leone in succession to Sir Arnold Hodson, who was recently appointed Governor and Commander-in-Chief of the Gold Coast.
