BOY CYCLIST’S DEATH. (Per United Press Association.) Wellington, June 8. A verdict in accordance with the medical evidence was returned at the inquest on the boy Claussen, who was killed by a lorry after a fall from a bicycle. a The evidence showed the boy was attempting to pass the lorry when the bicycle skidded on the surface of the road which was greasy after rain. The Coroner said it was a pure accident, no blame attaching to the driver of the lorry. WOMAN INJURED BY FALLING TREE. (Per United Press Association.) Gisborne, June 8. Crushed by the falling limb, of a bluegum tree which was being trimmed, Mrs Roland Graham, of Tolaga Bay, was severely injured. Seven men had difficulty in extricating her. Her condition to-day is reported to be fairly comfortable. KILLED BY GELIGNITE EXPLOSION. (Per United Press Association.) Dunedin, June 8. At 11.30 this morning, Robert Love, a married man about 45 years of age. who resided at Alexandra and was employed by the Public Works Department, was killed instantly by a charge of gelignite whilst working on a construction dam at Conroys, about four miles from Alexandra. An inquest will be held.
