PLOT IN RUMANIA CONSPIRACY AGAINST KING CAROL TEN OFFICERS ARRESTED (United Press Assn.—Telegraph Copyright.) (Rec. 7.10 p.m.) London, April 11. The Bucharest correspondent of the Daily Telegraph reports that ten prominent officers are among those arrested in connection with the plot against King Carol. The conspirators intended to blow up the cathedral when the royal family were expected and then gain possession of the capital and proclaim Colonel Precup military dictator with either Prince Nicholas or Prince Michael on the throne. Colonel Precup, who was a close friend of King Carol during the latter’s exile, is among those arrested. An order for the transference of grenades from the provincial garrison to Bucharest led to the discovery of the plot.
