JAPAN’S REPLY RECEIVED.

(Rec. 5.5 p.m.) Rugby, April 10. In the House of Commons to-day Mr Walter Runciman, President of the Board of Trade, stated that the Japanese Government’s reply upon the subject of Japanese trade competition had now been received and was at present under consideration.
