INCREASED PAY
DETROIT MOTOR WORKERS. SETTLEMENT OF STRIKE. (United Press Assn.—Telegraph Copyright.) (Rcc. 5.5 p.m.) Detroit, April 9. A settlement of the parts makers’ strike was announced to-night with the workers getting a 10 per cent, increase in pay. About 5600 return to work to-morrow. It is assumed that the Hudson plant will soon reopen "as a result. Meanwhile, however, a strike among other tool die makers who arc not affiliated with the American Federation of Labour is threatened on Thursday unless the demands are met.
