WRECKINGS BY BANDITS. A FORMIDABLE LIST. (United Press Assn.—Telegraph Copyright.) Moscow, April 9. Life on the Chinese Eastern Railway is more exciting than on any other railway in the world. The Soviet manager, M. Rudy, reports that last year bandits staged eleven train wrecks, 39 attempted wreckings, 38 armed raids, 19 arson cases, 60 murders of railway employees, 197 cases of assault and robbery and 400 kidnappings in the neighbourhood of the line.
