The annual meeting of the Invercargill Male Voice Choir was held last evening in the Federal when Mi - R. S. Mclnnes, the president, presided over an attendance of about 40 members. He wished to express appreciation of the gift of the part song "The Volga Boatmen” presented by Mr Alex Adam and not acknowledged in the annual report. Mr E. Smith moved the adoption of the report, which was seconded by Mr A. Adam. The balance-sheet, which showed a satisfactory position, was also adopted. The election of office-bearers resulted as follows: President, Mr R. S. Mclnnes (re-elected); vice-presidents, Messrs J. McCrostie and M. F. Stevens (re-elected); general committee, Messrs W. H. After the business of the meeting had concluded a social hour was spent when the following contributed items: Instrumental trio, Messrs W. W. Millar, Robert Henry and V.
