A man of 31, employed as a labourer by a borough council, stated at Clerkenwell County Court that he could not read or write. He added that neither his brothers and sisters, nor their father and grandfather before them, could write. Wireless doctors are now maintained by the Department of Health, Ottawa, to deal with illnesses in the remote settlement of the North West. As soon as a call for assistance comes through a doctor goes to the microphone and prescribes.
