LOADING DELAYED
MOTOR VESSEL OTAIO. ATTITUDE OF WATERSIDERS. (Per United Press Association.) Christchurch, April 8. The New Zealand Shipping Company’s motor ship Otaio, loading meat at Lyttelton for England, was delayed last evening owing to the refusal of the watersiders to work overtime. Work was resumed this morning, but further trouble arose when the railway hands, who did not refuse last evening, demanded overtime for a certain period. Their request goes before the Disputes Committee.
