GORE BOROUGH
VACANCY ON COUNCIL. THREE NOMINATIONS RECEIVED. Nominations closed at noon yesterday for the vacancy on the Gore Borough Council caused by the resignation of Councillor W. Gee. Three nominations were received as follows:— David McDougall, M.P., nominated by Robert P. Neale and Frank Young. Seth Newell, nominated by William Christie, W. King, W. D. Shelton and R. G. Stokes. Nicholas Robson, nominated by Charles J. Burrows and S. W. Smith. The election will be held on April 18.
