NEW SOUTH WALES TOWN.

(Rec. 8.55 p.m.) Sydney, April 6 A message from Toowoomba states that 14 business premises in the main street at G/’.ton were destroyed by fire early this morning. The blaze raged for hours owing to the fact that no water was available. The buildings destroyed comprised several shops with dwellings, also the branch of the Bank of New South Wales.
