BUTTER EXPORTS
OPPOSITION TO RESTRICTION.
POLICY MAY BE REVERSED.
(United Press Assn.—Telegraph Copyright.) Sydney, April 6. The Sydney Morning Herald says that although last year,, when proposals were made for the limitation of butter exports from Australia to the United Kingdom, the Australian Diary Produce Control Board opposed the plan, it is expected that this policy will shortly "be reversed. Mr S. M. Bruce conferred with representatives of the dairy industry and it is considered certain that any action decided upon by Australia will be in conjunction with New Zealand. Mr Bruce will visit New Zealand on his return journey to London and confer with Mr Forbes on this and other subjects.
