ENVOY AT BANGKOK
A NEW APPOINTMENT.

(Rec. 5.5 p.m.) Rugby, April 5. The King has approved of the appointment of Sir Josiah Crosby, British Minister to Panama, to be envoy at Bangkok in succession to Mr E. F. Former. Sir Josiah Crosby began his diplomatic career in Siam and previously served in Bangkok as ViceConsul in 1911 and acting-Consul-General in 1919-20.
