Another successful euchre tourney was conducted by the Cattle Flat Racing Club officials on Wednesday evening, when there was a good attendance of players. Prizes for the evening were won by the following: Ladies, Mrs Davidson, 1, Miss M. Cromie 2; men, Mr J. Fitzgerald 1, Mr W. Rasmussen 2. Mr and Mrs D. Stevens and their small son, who have been the guests of Mr and Mrs R. Roy, returned to Hakataramea on Tuesday. Miss Helen Dillon is spending a holiday at Stewart Island. Mrs Sullivan, Edendale, spent a week at Balfour recently as the guest of Mr and Mrs John Dillon. Mrs Davidson, Gisborne, and her small daughter are the guests of the former’s sister, Mrs A. Waddell.
