GIRL REJOINING PARENTS.
INFLUENCE OF RED CROSS.
(United Press Assn.—Telegraph Copyright.) (Rec. 11.50 p.m.) Sydney, January 9. A girl, aged 12, whose parents are now New Zealanders and whose case has hal the attention of seven Governments, is due to arrive in Sydney on Thursday aboard the Atsuta Maru en route to New Zealand. Her name is Galina Gogatiroff. Her parents,s escaping the Bolshevik revolution, were compelled to leave the child behind owing to privations and illness, since when she has been cared for by friendly, unknown people. The Red Cross Society finally traced her at Stretenski (Siberia). Captain Galloway, of the New Zealand Red Cross, was largely instruemntal in the negotiations for her restoration to her parents, described here as one of the romances of modern times, thanks to the international aspect of the Red Cross. The girl will be cared for upon arrival on Thursday by the Red Cross. She sails for New Zealand by the Wanganella.
