KEEN ON SAVING
RAROTONGANS’ FAITH IN BANKS.
(Per United Press Association.)
Wellington, January 8.
Mr G. Davis, Postmaster at Rarotonga, who, with Mr G. Robinson, chief wireless operator there, arrived by the Makura on furlough to-day, stated that the Rarotongans appeared to have great faith in the savings banks. The number of depositors increased year by year, which was a pleasing feature of the administration of the Cook Group.
