AUSTRALIAN GOLD
PRODUCTION LAST YEAR. REMARKABLE IMPROVEMENT. (United Press Assn—Telegraph Copyright.) Canberra, January 6. Figures prepared by the Commonwealth Statistician’s Department show that Australia’s gold production during 1933 reached a total value of £6,151,000 in Australian money. This is a remarkable improvement upon the 1929 figure of £1,814,457.
