DUTCH CATTLE
THOUSANDS BEING SLAUGHTERED. (United Pr' .s Assn.—Telegraph Copyright.) Amsterdam, January 4. Owing to the depression due to the decline of the English, French and German markets for dairy produce, the Dutch Cattle Board has decided to slaughter 4000 cattle a week for a year in order to maintain the domestic price level. The slaughtered cattle will be tinned and the unemployed will be able to purchase 2{lbs for a shilling.
