GERMAN BONDS
EXISTING AGREEMENT VARIED.
NO REPLY TO PROTEST.
(British Official Wireless.) Rugby, January 4.
No reply has been received from the German Government to the recent protest of the United Kingdom Government against the action of the German Reichsbank in varying, by unilateral action, the existing agreement with the British and other holders of German long and medium term loans and in discriminating against British creditors. The United Kingdom Government has informed the other Powers especially interested in the matter, including the United States, of the action it has taken and has exchanged views.
