PERSONAL. Mrs Munn and Mrs Pointon were visitors to Eglinton Valley at the weekend. , , Miss M. Cosgriff left during the week to join the novitiate of the Sisters of the Poor at Dunedin. Mrs P. Creedy and family are spending a holiday with relatives at Roslyn Bush. Mr and Mrs H. Brown, St. Clair, Mr and Mrs H. Hannah, Misses P. Hannah and Featherstone, Dunedin, and Mr R. Hannah, Christchurch, have been spending a holiday in Nightcaps as the guests of Mr and Mrs J. B. Grant. Mr George Taylor, Gore, visited Nightcaps for a few days last week. Mr and Mrs J. Phair and their son Frank and Master Dempsey Magee visited The Rocks, Riverton, at the week-end. Mr and Mrs William Carrick and Mr and Mrs Walter Carrick, Dunedin, have been spending a holiday with relatives in Nightcaps. Mrs Carmody and Miss Carmody, Gore, spent the New Year holidays at Nightcaps as the guests of Mr and Mrs C. Carmody. Mr N. C. Clapp was home for a few days in the holidays. Mrs J. Allen is visiting her mother in Invercargill. Miss A. Dixon, Dunedin, is spending a holiday with her parents, Mr and Mrs A. Dixon. Mr S. McGregor is visiting Ashburton and Christchurch. Mr and Mrs J. Prendeville spent the holidays at Hedgehope as the guests of Mr and Mrs South. Mr and Mrs Martin, Lawrence, have been visiting Nightcaps as the guests of Miss S. Purdue. Miss Rennie has been visiting relatives in Invercargill. Mr and Mrs M. Hunt, Invercargill, have been staying at Nightcaps for the holidays as the guests of Mrs P. Hunt. Mr George Bryant has been visiting Stewart Island. Mr and Mrs A. Tinker have been spending a camping holiday at Eglinton Valley. Mr J. Clapp jun., has been spending a few days in Invercargill. Mrs A. McCorkindale is visiting Christchurch. Mr and Mrs W. McKenzie have been camping at Colac. Mr P. Walsh has been spending a short holiday in Dunedin. Mr George Nimmo is home from the Training College.
