Under fine weather conditions . the Southland Lawn Tennis Association s Christmas tourney was brought to a conclusion at the Waihopai courts yesterday. Only a number of handicap events remained to be disposed of, the biggest section being the mixed doubles handicap in which 17 matches had to be played.
