ULM AGAIN DELAYED
UNFAVOURABLE WEATHER. NOT TAKING ANY RISKS. (United Press Assn.—Telegraph Copyright.) (Rec. 8.25 p.m.) Sydney, December 1.
Unfavourable weather conditions over the Tasman caused a further delay of Mr Ulm’s departure. The Weather Bureau forecasts that strong head winds, rain squalls and clouds over practically the whole route are likely to continue for several davs.
Mr Ulm stated: “I want to get to New Zealand as speedily as possible, but while there is a shadow of risk attached to the trip I will not go. The plane's wireless equipment will enable me to keep in touch with the Australian and New Zealand stations throughout the journey.”
