Southland Women’s Club
GARDEN CIRCLE. On Friday afternoon, the annual meeting of the Garden Circle was held in the club rooms. There was a fair attendance of members. Miss E. K. Smythies, who has been on the committee for the past year, was the only retiring member. The following officebearers were elected for the ensuing year:—Chamwoman, Mrs J. G. Macdonald; deputy chairwoman, Mrs G. L Moffett; secretary, Mrs Roy Anderson; committee, Mesdames G. H. Uttley, R. Burns Watson, D. Cochrane, J. Robertson, W. S. Todd, A. Owen Johnston, H. A. Brumby, T. A. Nicholson and Miss Brodrick. The committee hope to arrange some enjoyable outings during the summer months.
