DEVELOPMENTS IN BRITAIN. (United Press Assn.—Telegraph Copyright.) London, October 25. Following prolonged secret tests of the micro-wave the Air Ministry has opened a wonder wireless station at Lympe. It transmits on 17 J centimetres and the aerials are only an inch long. The signals are focussed in beam received at the Stingelvert aerodrome, France, where a transmitter is also installed, enabling two-way wireless conversation. Weather reports will be instantly exchanged to assist aviation. This is one of the first practical applications or investigations of th« mysterious micro-wave.
