WOMEN’S DIVISION
RYAL BUSH BRANCH. At the monthly meeting of the Ryal Bush branch of the Women’s Division of the Farmer’s Union Mrs Gray presided over a large attendance of members. Miss L. Baldy was appointed to take charge of the Tui Annual in the Ryal Bush district. The president introduced and welcomed Mrs McKenzie, Awarua Plains, who displayed some beautifully-made rag rugs and raffia baskets. She explained and demonstrated the art of making those articles, members being keenly interested. A hearty vote of thanks was accorded Mrs McKenzie. Mrs Adjutant Tong, of the Salvation Army, gave an address from the text, “My grace is sufficient for three.” The result of this effort was very gratifying and the members wish to tender their sincere thanks to all who helped.
