POULTRY INDUSTRY

TITLE OF BILL CHANGED. (From Our Parliamentary Reporter). Wellington, October 25. The title of the Poultry Amendment Bill which was passed by the House of Representatives last session but was rejected by the Upper House on the grounds that it had not had time to consider it, has now been changed to the Poultry Runs Registration Bill. The measure is substantially the same as the last one, but Clause 10 has been altered somewhat in order to make it perfectly clear that there is no intention that the board should take over the control of marketing in New Zealand.
