New York, October 24, A message from McKeesport (Pennsylvania) states that three men were killed and nine injured in a fall of slate at the Hubbard mine of the McKeesport Coal and Coke Company. An eight-ton ledge of slate crashed on to a train of cars which was carrying the miners to their work. About forty others leaped from the cars, thus escaping injury.
