CIRCULATION IN JAPAN. “ARROGANCE” RESENTED. (United Press Assn.—Telegraph Copyright.) London, October 24. The Manchester Guardian says that an anti-British book, of which very meagre details are available in England, has been widely advertised in Japan and has run to 45 editions. It alleges that Britain is planning Japans ruin owing to the inroads made _in China and Indian trade. Peace-loving Japanese resent British arrogance and insolence. Chapters are devoted to the Singapore Base, the Pacific, the death-knell of the British Navy, and Britain’s vulnerable points. It declares that there is no need to dread Britain.
