WRAIGHT—WILSON. A quiet wedding was celebrated at the Presbyterian Church, North Taieri, on June 21, when Mabel Margaret, eldest daughter of Mr and Mrs R. L. Wilson, Yarrow street, Invercargill, was married to William, second son of Mr and Mrs L. R. Wraight, Roslyn. The Rev. Hugh Graham, of Mosgiel, was the officiating minister. Mr Robin Smellie played the “Wedding March.” The bride who was given away by her uncle, Mr W, D. Wraight, wore an

ankle-length frock of white georgette, with long-fitting sleeves. Her embroidered veil was arranged with pleated tulle and orange blossom, and she carried a sheaf of white chrysanthemums and freesias. Miss Alice Wright, who attended as bridesmaid, wore an ankle-length frock of pale lemon satin, and carried a sheaf of bronze chrysanthemums. Mr J. McNeil attended the bridegroom. After the ceremony Mrs Wraight held a reception at her residence, North Taieri. Mr and Mrs Wraight left later by car for a tour of Otago Central. The bride travelled in a blue frock and a blue flecked coat, with fur collar, and a smart little turban hat and bag to match. CAMPBELL—GORMACK. A quiet wedding was solemnised at the Presbyterian Church, Woodlands, on July 5, the contracting parties being Ella, eldest daughter of Mr and Mrs A. C, Gormack of Woodlands, and Alan Strang, eldest son of Mr A. J. Campbell and the late Mrs Campbell, formerly of Gore. The Rev. G. Renwick, of Woodlands, was the officiating minister. Their future home will be in Dunedin.
