EUCHRE TOURNEYS. (From Our Correspondent.) The winners of the weekly euchre held at Round Hill on Wednesday, the 21st, were: Ladies, first, Miss A. Neilson; consolation, Mrs Neilson; men, first, Mr R. Hopkins; consolation, Mr J. Smith (Wakapatu). The prize winners of the Colac Relief Workers fortnightly euchre and dance were: ladies, Mrs Davis; men, Mr Hinton. After supper a dance was held, music being supplied by Messrs Beadle (drums and effects), C. Goodwillie (guitar), McKay (violin) and Egerton (accordion). Mr Belsham (Jun.), acted as M.C. Amongst those present were Mr and Mrs Davis, Mr a, d Mrs Goodwillie, Mr and Mrs McKay, Mr and Mrs Whittle, Mr and Mrs Coulston, Mr and Mrs Reid, Ms and Mrs Broomhall, Mr and Mrs Burtenshaw, Mr and Mrs Egerton; Mesdames Hart, Belsham and Te Au; Misses Whittle, Broomhall, Rehu, Egerton, Cleaver, Wixon; Messrs Hinton, Shields, Bates, Valintine, Budolph, Laurie, Sullivan, Belsham, Hampstead, Cleaver (4), Beadle and Latchford. On Friday, the 23rd, the Sunshine Dance Committee held an enjoyable Plain and Hardup Dance in the Tihaka Hall. Music was supplied by Misses Egerton and P. Blakie, while Mr J. Blakie acted as M.C. Amongst those present were Mesdames Broomhall, and Wilkenson; Misses Kelland, Woodward (2, Granity), Hodges (2), Wilkenson (3), Egerton (Colac), Robertson, Broomhall; Messrs Rhind (Granity), Wilkenson, T. Egerton (Colac), Blakie (2), Egerton (2), Woodward (2, Granity), Robertson and Hodges.
