PERSONAL. (From Our Correspondent.) Miss J. Brown, “The Downs,” is at present spending a few days in Otautau. Miss R. Brick, Orawia, has returned home after spending a holiday with her sister, Mrs T. Forde. Miss C. Dawson, Colac Bay, is holidaying with friends in the district. Last Wednesday the Waihoaka crib players journeyed to Orepuki, the local team winning. Owing to very rough weather the crowd who attended the euchre and dance was not so large as usual, the prizes going to Mr W. Barry (men’s) and Mrs Ericson (ladies’). Music for the dance was supplied by Mr Ericson (violin), Misses Ericson (piano) while the extras were played by Misses M. Brownridge and R. Brick.
