HEREFORD BREEDERS
COMPULSORY DEHORNING OPPOSED.
(Per United Press Association.) Palmerston North, June 15. At the annual meeting of the Hereford Cattle Breeders’ Association, several speakers opposed the proposed Bill for the compulsory dehoming of cattle. It was decided to send a deputation to the Minister of Agriculture to lay their views before him.
The following officers were elected: President, Mr J. M. James; vice-presi-dents, Messrs A. S. Holms and A. Swift; treasurer, Mr E. E. Short; council, Messrs E. Jefferson, W. K. Morton, W. B. White, A. B. Stuckey, F, P. Humphreys, E. Tynan and J. Brice.
