The result of the provisional count of ballot papers is as follows: Ward seven.—C. P. Agar (Christchurch). Tonnage votes 167, T. Mould (Little River) 120, H. T. Chapman (Little River) 19, H. Bliss (Heathcote) 0, J. W. Kime (Springston) 0, H. W. McIntosh (Springston) 0. Ward Three.—C. Z. Luke (Te Puke) 896, S. A. Ferguson (Matumaoho) 391. Ward Four.—W. C. G. Gi'ecn (Rahotu) 257|, H. E.
