NAVAL UNITS
MANOEUVRES IN PACIFIC. DOMINIONS AND JAPAN. (United Press, Assn.—Telegraph Copyright.) Canberra, June 15. It is expected that the Australian Navy will leave Sydney at the end of July to carry out manoeuvres in New Zealand waters with the warships from the Dominion. The exercises will last some days. The Australian ships will visit ports in both islands. The Daily Telegraph says that early in August, when the dominions’ small navies will most likely be exercising, the Japanese Navy will be making a display of her sea power in the Pacific near the Caroline Islands and more than 100 war vessels will be massed near the islands.
