SERIES OF THEFTS
YOUNG MAORI CHARGED. (Per United Press Association.) New Plymouth, June 14. Unlawful conversion of six motor vehicles, and the theft of motor tools, an overcoat, two quantities of wine including a keg of eight gallons, were admitted by a young Maori, Kings Wairi, in the Police Court. He was committed to the Borstal for two years and ordered to make restitution.
