WEST COAST MINES
AGREEMENT WITH ENGINEDRIVERS. (Per United Press Association.) Wellington, June 13. Mr T. O. Bishop, the Coal Mine Owners’ secretary, announces that a satisfactory agreement has been reached with regard to the engine-drivers and mechanics employed in the West Coast coal mines and operating immediately until January 31 next. The West Coast coalminers’ agreement of July, 1932, is continuing to operate for the present.
