N.Z. LEGION
POSITION OF PUBLIC SERVANTS. (Per United Press Association.) Wellington, June 13. Interviewed to-day the Public Service Commissioner stated that no action had been taken to prevent Public Servants becoming members of the New Zealand Legion and that he considered it would be impossible to do so. The Commissioner stated further that no objection was raised to officers as private citizens becoming members of any organization, political or otherwise. What was objected to, however, was any member of the Public Service taking an active part in the organization or administration of the Legion ot other similar body.
