Chief Chemist of the Flaxgrowers’ Pulp and Cellulose Products of N.Z., Ltd These highly interesting demonstrations and lectures have been largely attended in all the main centres of New Zealand. All interested persons are invited to attend. The demonstrations and lectures show how artificial silk, clarofoil, and cellulose lacquers are manufactured from Phormium Tenax (New Zealand Flax). The various processes which the flax undergoes are demonstrated and explained by Dr. Brown. INTERESTING, INSTRUCTIVE AND UNUSUAL. The lectures and demonstrations will be held as follows:— Thursday—7.3o p.m. Friday—lo.3o a.m., 2.30 p.m., 7.30 p.m. Saturday—lo.3o a.m. Many interesting exhibits will be on view—all made from Phormium Tenax (New Zealand Flax). A temporary laboratory has been arranged for the demonstrations and industrialists should not miss seeing Dr. Brown’s demonstrations. NOTE THE ADDRESS.
