PONEKE RUGBY CLUB
JUBILEE CELEBRATIONS. (United Press Assn.—Telegraph Copyright.) (Rec. 12.32 a.m.) Sydney, May 10. The jubilee of the Poneke Rugby Union Club (Wellington) was celebrated here to-night synchronizing with a jubilee ball in the Wellington Town Hall. Mr Len Freeman, who gave a dinner, invited a number of former plhyers and supporters of Poneke, among whom were Messrs J. Richardson. M. Rosenblum, J. McShane, T. Pauling, V. Hannam, H. Jessen, R. Ritchie, S. Nicholls end H. Cassells in addition to prominent local Rugby Union officials. It was a convivial gathering.
