RIOTING CHARGE
UNEMPLOYED IN CANADA. DEATH OF POLICE INSPECTOR. (United Press Assn.—Telegraph Copyright.) Ottawa, May 9. A message from Saskatoon states that 25 unemployed have been charged with rioting following the death of a Royal Canadian Mounted Police Inspector, L. J. Sampson, who was hit by a rock and dragged by his bolting horse .when 50 men refused to leave camp for work in Regina. There was a pitched battle when the ejected men stormed the dining hall.
