CARD EVENING.
(From Our Correspondent.)
The Ohai School Committee held another successful flag 500 evening on May 8 when there was a good attendance. The prize-winners were: Mr and Mrs W. Thomson and Mr Foster. At the ladies’ afternoon held on Wednesday, May 3, the semi-final of the knock-out competition was played with the following results: Mrs Gerken beat Mrs Mclntosh; Miss Wilson beat Mrs Murray. The singles competition over 18 holes resulted in a win for Miss C. Porteous. Afternoon tea was served during the games. Those present were: Mesdames
